Moving boundaries for jack-up rigsDeeper water, higher deckload and improved drilling capacity combined with higher safety and environmental standards were the drivers behind the design of the Mærsk INNOVATOR and Mærsk INSPIRER.
The result are two ultra harsh environment jack-up rigs which are mechanised to an unprecedented degree, and are able to work on up to 150 metres water depths in harsh environments.
